In 2010, when Emily was a senior in high school, she joined the Cammett staff as an Engineering Assistant. In May 2014, Emily graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management. At Clarkson, Emily served as the President of the American Society of Civil Engineers chapter and the Vice President of the Society of Women Engineers chapter. Since then, Emily has joined the staff full-time as a Project Engineer and has earned her Engineer-in-Training certificate and her Soil Evaluator License in Massachusetts. She is an asset to Cammett Engineering and her hard work, dedication, and passion for engineering does not go without notice!

Deny Hamel has been with Cammett for more than 35 years! As a project manager, Deny works with the design and implementation of Subdivision and Site Plan Review projects from conception to approval. He coordinates the details of projects with owners, permitting agencies, and the other staff at Cammett. Recently, Deny has received approval of Commercial Site Plan Reviews for an Automotive Sales and Repair Business and an Industrial Business. At home, Deny has a small farm with
animals including: 4 horses, 3 alpacas, 50+ chickens, 15 rabbits, birds and cats. To support these critters, there are always fences to fix and shelters to build and maintain! Did you know?? Alpacas are sheered once a year and average five pounds of fiber per animal! The fiber is processed into yarn, and/or roving and Deny crafts it into scarves, hats, place mats, table runners, and many other items.

Matt Michaud studied Civil Engineering at UMass Lowell and later graduated with a Bachelors in Marketing and Management. He joined the Cammett team in 2008 and has over 12 years of survey crew experience. Currently a Survey
Crew Chief, Matt leads the field crew in their daily tasks which include property survey, building layout, topographic survey, and anything else the engineering staff needs completed in the field. Matt is proficient in the use of Leica transits, GPS, hand held data collectors, and is also OSHA certified. He has the skills and knowledge to complete jobs in an efficient professional manner. When not at work, he enjoys life outdoors hiking, swimming at the beach, and taking in all New England has to offer with his wife Katie and adorable daughter, Grace. A fun fact about Matthew is he's also a very talented woodworker having built cabinets, bookcases, shelves and a kitchen island for his home and for friends.

Jill has over twenty five years of office experience working with Sr. Management in the Engineering field. She worked her way through the ranks starting as an Administration Clerk working in Boston early in her career and has worked her way up to Office Manager. Jill is a “numbers person” and enjoys the daily office operations of accounting and administrative policies and procedures. She has become use to wearing many hats during her day and looks forward to the daily change and challenge of balancing client relations, staffing and keeping the office running smoothly.
Outside the office Jill attends workshops and mentors others in health, wellness, and finances to create an action plan to achieve their goals and build their skills. She is also a NH Justice of the Peace for the past 20 years and thoroughly enjoys officiating weddings for family and friends. “The most fun for me is writing and tailoring the wedding vows to the individual couple to make their day very special and memorable.”
For fun Jill enjoys traveling, snow shoeing, camping, gardening, riding her Harley Motorcycle, spending time with family, friends and especially with her grandchildren.

Bob Smith is our Director of Land Surveying where he oversees the day to day operations of field survey, office survey, scheduling, and budgets. Bob has been with Cammett Engineering for more than 30 years. In 2015, Bob was the recipient of the NHLSA Surveyor Excellence Award! Outside of the office, he enjoys being very adventurous. Bob loves travelling, camping, and skiing. A fun fact about Bob Smith is, prior to working at Cammett Engineering, he was a member of the Bear Management Team of Yellowstone National Park where he helped relocate grizzly bears.

Robert Blanchette is the Director of Engineering where he manages the day to day engineering tasks and workload, prepares proposals, and mentors junior staff. Bob has recently renewed his soil evaluator license. In his spare time, Bob loves to practice zymurgy which is the fermentation in brewing. A fun fact about Bob is that civil engineering is actually his third career. In high school he worked as a plumber, then moved on to land surveying, and now to civil engineering! Bob is a great asset to the Cammett team with his wide variety of experience!

Jane Salvaggio joined the Cammett team is 2015 as a Project Surveyor withseveral years of survey and drafting experience in the Massachusetts area. At Cammett, Jane researches deeds and plans of records to determine property line information, processes field work, drafts plans, works in the field, and prepares data for the field crew to layout points for construction. She has been a wonderful addition to the staff with her skills in the field and office, love of numbers, design work, and her ability to take on any challenge. Jane recently completed a Mathematics for Surveyors and AutoCAD Civil 3D for Surveyors seminars and will be attending a Boundary Law & Research seminar this week. Jane is also working toward her Surveyor-in-Training certification. Outside of the office, Jane loves spending time with her family, playing on the water, and going on bike rides. A fun fact about Jane is that she still holds the women’s pole vault record at Brandeis University.

We would like to recognize our President, Woody Cammett! Woody has dedicated more than 40 years to Cammett Engineering which was established in 1975. Woody earned his degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University and since then he has continued to be a part of the of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Public Works Association, and Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers. In addition to this, Woody is a member of the Amesbury Educational Foundation and Amesbury Chamber of Commerce. He is also very passionate about giving back to the community, particularly toward education and helping others. Woody contributes to helping the Amesbury Educational
Foundation, Amesbury schools, the Boston Children’s Hospital, Our Neighbor’s Table, and various other organizations. Outside of the office, Woody enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing in Maine.
